States of Jersey – Skills Accelerator Application Device

Prosperity 24.7 was commissioned by the Economic Development Department within the States of Jersey to implement a solution for managing new application requests for their Skills Accelerator Grant.

     The Challenge

The Economic Development Department wanted a system to allow their customers to complete Skills Accelerator application forms independently online allowing for timely and efficient processing of applications once in the hands of the department.  The brief was to create a clean transparent platform for updating status’ and tracing their decision process, all as part of their existing CRM instance.

A further requirement was to improve the reporting surrounding this process helping to further improve their service. The states of Jersey had an immediate requirement for this piece of work to be completed.


     How we delivered for the Economic Development Department

We started the engagement by producing project initiation documentation which included in depth requirement analysis. Once agreed and signed off we then began creating records, views and workflows ensuring that all security requirements were addressed throughout.

Once the system was developed we were then able to commence with full data sync and migration tasks and then package the solution ready for user acceptance testing.

Full training was provided on the new solution to ensure all users were familiarised with the basics of CRM along with charts, custom views, dashboards and duplication detection. This ensures that the full value of the new solution is realised department wide.

Considering the EDD’s urgent requirement for this solution we were able to turn it round within a 5 week period.
