Pete’s Ultimate Endurance Challenge, a Marathon effort…

Some of you may know that for the last few months our colleague and fund raising legend – Peter Wright – has been training for a marathon with a difference, this time he intends to pull a car the full marathon distance back and forth along the Five Mile Road in St Ouens…

Peter is an accomplished adventurer, having completed many ultramarathons, cycling challenges and rowing both morning and afternoon 30k sessions of the rowathon (solo) all to raise essential funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.

On the 16 November, he will be attempting to pull a car in a harness, non-stop, for the 26.2miles.

When you add a driver, the combined weight will be around 1,060 kilos. Pete will be pulling the car along the 5 mile road between Jersey Pearl and Le Braye.

He’s doing all this to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey

There are many incredible ways you can support this latest marathon effort:

  • You can buy a raffle ticket to win the car he’ll be towing at MacMillan Cancer Support.
  • Or you can cheer him on, on the day!

Good luck Pete!
