On Tuesday 12th November, one of Prosperity 24.7’s Senior Technical Consultants and Certified Citrix Expert – Jonathan Storey – participated in an entertaining evening with BCS Jersey, the Chartered Institute for IT.
At the event, three local consultants from different businesses talked about their experiences with their chosen technologies for thin desktop provisioning.
Ronnie Isherwood from RI Technology spoke about the technicalities of Microsoft RDS, Scott Le Marquand from C5/Itex spoke about the technical components of VM view. Prosperity 24.7’s Jonathan Storey talked comprehensively about his experience deploying Citrix first hand in various business scenarios, he also covered the wide business benefits regarding accessibility and cost benefits that Citrix could provide over the other covered technologies.
When asked about the experience Jonathan advised “Citrix is by far the most suitable solution for clients in the Channel Islands with global remote offices, it is simply brilliant. It is so much easier than the competing technologies in this space from an on-going Administration perspective and is just better at handling multiple forms of secure authentication”.
