Prosperity 24.7 Consultant to speak at International event in China.

Prosperity 24.7 consultant Simon Brown will be presenting two sessions at the International Architect Summit 2012 that is taking place in Shenzhen, China. “ArchSummit 2012”, organised by InfoQ China, is aimed at IT architects and covers topics ranging from the latest technology advances through to modern trends in the architecture discipline. The city of Shenzhen is located to the north of Hong Kong and is one of China’s major finance centres. Shenzhen is also home to a number of China’s largest high-tech and digital businesses.

Simon’s first presentation is a morning keynote entitled “The Frustrated Architect”, which looks at the architecture role on modern software development projects, explaining how having an obsession with the latest trends doesn’t necessarily guarantee success. An interview with Simon for InfoQ.com on the same topic was recently translated into Chinese for InfoQ China (http://www.infoq.com/cn/).

The second presentation looks at security, which is a crucial aspect of most software systems yet often neglected. Simon’s talk features guidance on how to tackle security within software projects; including the security concerns associated with the design, development, deployment and operation of the resulting software.

ArchSummit 2012 takes place in Shenzhen, China on the 10th-12th August 2012. Further information about the event can be found at http://www.architectsummit.com

Simon Jackson, Technical Director of Prosperity 24.7 added “Simon is a world class software architect and speaker! He effectively combines industry best practice with real world experience in the realm of software architecture and development, delivered to audiences in a straight talking, warts and all presentation style, which has been internationally well received and recognised.”
