Prosperity 24.7 are pleased to announce the continued growth of our Software Development practice, in line with our business plan aspirations, courtesy of two strategic hires, local software Architect Simon Brown and software developer Mike Kelly. In addition to adding this depth, we have also added further breadth in the form of Ronnie Isherwood who joins our infrastructure practice.

Simon Brown is a leading International speaker, author, tutor and hands on software architect. He is the founder of ‘Coding the Architecture’ and can be described either as a software architect who codes or a software developer who understands architecture. Simon joins the team as an associate and has an enviable track record in project delivery or more recently project recovery and today, continues to successfully deliver a variety of projects on the .NET and Java platforms, Simon also uses his experience to train and coach both International and local teams in delivering simply better software solutions.

Mike Kelly joins the team coming from a traditional background of ‘front end’ design and web work. He will be helping the team on data visualisation, web portal design and development. Mike is bringing refreshing ideas and concepts regarding how information can be presented cost effectively to the Web, with experience in retail, eCommerce and hybrid integrated security solutions using a range of innovative and agile technologies.
Ronnie Isherwood is also an Internationally recognised speaker, tutor and infrastructure consultant. He is the co-founder of the local ‘Windows User Group’ and has extensive solution design and support skills, fluent with Wintel infrastructure and deep virtualization knowledge. Specialities include Virtualisation, Wintel Clustering, Citrix XenApp, Remote desktop solutions, backup strategy and implementation.

Managing Director of Prosperity 24.7, Chris Clark added, “Securing the skills of these three highly effective local individuals underpins our aspirations to be the ‘go to’ people for complex, sizeable software development projects. Whether you need projects simply initiated correctly or perhaps re-aligned mid-development to meet today’s operational landscape, we are here to help with proven full project lifecycle capability in the team”.

Chris also offered an invitation to graduates or professionals looking for their next career move, “I would like to add that we are continuing to grow our technology services and software products both locally and Internationally, therefore if you have a proven track record in software development and looking to relocate back to Jersey or are already here and considering a change in career direction, please do not hesitate to contact me in person at chris.clark@prosperity247.com or on +44 (0)1534 877247 for an informal discussion”.
