Prosperity Day is our annual charity fundraising event where corporate rivals go ‘head to head to head’ to #ventyourfury in a fast paced stationary cycling challenge. Using our brand new Wahoo KICKR bikes to complete a virtual stage of the Tour de France using 3D Race technology, teams of three will compete against each other to gain race day points to add to the all important fundraising total and top the podium.
Over the past 8 years, Prosperity Day has raised more than £135,000 for local charities. This year’s event, taking place at Prosperity 24/7 ‘s new waterfront headquarters will raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support Jersey and the Jersey branch of Cancer Research UK.
Our target is to raise £24,700 (or just £1,400 per team) and 100% of the money raised will be split between these two benefiting charities. By supporting them, we will also assist the incredible fundraising efforts of some of our team members who have run, rowed and of course, cycled an incredible number of miles for two charities close to their hearts.
How you can get involved
We’re inviting up to eighteen corporate rival teams to hit the turbo trainer saddle on Friday 8 September 2023 for a fast paced 30 minute race using 3D race technology and take on a gruelling virtual stage of the Tour de France.
There are two ways to gain points and make it to the podium – race day performance and charity fundraising, so it’s not just about speed, the more money raised, the higher up the leader board each team goes.
If you want to #VentYourFury and go #HeadToHead to challenge yourself and raise funds for two amazing charities, then find out more here and sign up now.
- Select your team of three – we only need the details of one of your team members to start with. Teams can be male, female or mixed…and you can enter more than one team!
- Register through our Race Nation page. To kickstart your fundraising we have three different entry fees. 100% of the fees will go to the charities. But your fundraising can’t stop there as the amount you raise will influence your position on the leaderboard.
- Make use of your own Race Nation Fundraising page – Once your team is registered, you will have access to your own fundraising page to edit and share amongst friends, family and colleagues and encourage them to donate by using the link on your page.
- Finally, get training, fundraising and having fun! Invite and involve your colleagues to get you ready for the race, support your fundraising and cheer you on. Share what you are doing to get ready for Friday 8 September by tagging us and use #VentYourFury #ProsperityDay in your social media.
