Tom joined the team in July 2019 as a Consultant within the Business Solutions team.
After gaining a BSc Hons in Computer Science at the University of Lincoln, he joined the development team at the headquarters of a vehicle logistics company in Grimsby, UK for one year. During this time, he worked on maintaining in-house automotive logistic systems and developed new applications including a vehicle estimation and workshop system.
Afterwards, he worked as a developer at the headquarters of an EPOS software development company in Hull, UK for 6 years which focussed on the hospitality, leisure and gaming industries. After 15 months, Tom was promoted to Senior Developer and a short-while after to web-team lead. During his time at the company, Tom contributed to the design and development of numerous SAAS applications and integrations with various accounting systems with a large focus of his time being the sole responsibility for the design and development of an online food and beverage stock control system now used by several nationwide chain restaurants.
