Our support ensured their systems remain best of breed and provided a platform for them develop a wider range of products to meet their customer needs.

Situation
  • As a long standing strategic technical and change partner, we were asked to support the upgrade of a banking platform and the implementation of enhancements. The banking platform needed to be upgraded to remain compliant and feature rich.
Task

  • To resource the full life cycle of the programme; including provision of a programme manager, project managers and business analysts from Prosperity 24/7.
Action
  • To develop a business case for a full concept and redesign; engaging Vendors, Suppliers, Architects and SMEs to ensure the system remains best of breed, technologically up-to-date and aligning to security and functional standards.
  • To initiate and manage the Programme; adhering to Customer Governance and Risk Control standards.
  • To document and formalise the requirements; working alongside the Business and Technical SMEs. Lead the conversion of requirements into test cases fully documented using JIRA test management toolkits.
  • To manage the RFQ process, build a team of internal, partner and supplier upgrade specialists, align budget and resources and create a forecast for the 18-month upgrade window.
  • To lead multiple build phases within the respective projects; ensuring hardware was upgraded in line with Group Security Standards and vendor recommendations and managing the complex relationship between technical 3rd parties and group security architects.
