We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Consultant to join our team and provide expert advice and support to clients on all aspects of information security. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions that protect our clients’ environments. You will work closely with clients to understand their security needs and develop solutions that meet their specific requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in security and a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients.

About You
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of information security, risk management, and cybersecurity. A degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, and other relevant security certifications.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Consultant who provides strategic guidance and technical support to organisations to protect their computer systems, networks, and data from cybersecurity threats. The Senior Security Consultant typically works with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, legal, and compliance, to ensure that an organisation’s security strategy aligns with its overall business goals and objectives
Must have strong security capability, a confident presence in front of customers and in-depth experience in security consultancy skills. They are also not afraid to roll up their sleeves and assist in the delivery of security solutions, leading from the front.
Essential Skills
The ideal candidate should have substantial working knowledge and demonstrable skills in multiple areas to include but not limited to:

- Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and methodologies
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS)
- Experience in performing risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and methodologies
- Security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Network security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs)
- Endpoint protection and anti-virus software
- Cloud security technologies and services
- Identity and access management (IAM) solutions
- Previous experience in a 2nd/3rd line support role or consulting role
- Understanding of incident and problem management
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Ability to work effectively in a commercially aware yet client sensitive capacity
- Engage and provide professional and expert security support and direction to clients
- Run security workshops and architecting bespoke solutions
- Ability to build relationships and develop rapport internally and with external clients
- Design, installation, and support of security solutions associated with delivering both internally and to external clients
- Ability or drive to run your own team of consultants – upskill and mentor Consultants
- Experience of Pre-sales activities would be desirable
- Certification in multiple technology disciplines including (but not limited to) any of the following:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
- Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
- Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP)
